My mentor Marcello Lisi built his business to diamond but for 2 years he received no income from it for complex personal reasons. Yet he kept building and what kept him going was his team. This is a fantastic example of Zig Ziglar’s advice that if you help others to get what they want, you will receive everything you want.
Right in the midst of dark times is when our integrity is tested. Yet that is just the time to hold true to our principles. Such a philosophy and integrity is something we should all emulate.

Sometimes this is easier said than done even though I’m sure most of you are familiar with Zig Ziglar’s oft quoted saying “Help enough other people to get what they want and you can have everything you want.”
The trouble is that it is easy to say these things but sometimes we fall short. I know I do which is why I often talk about this in different ways! After all we are all human. You know how it is when you have had a lean patch in your business; maybe growth has slowed right down. But let me ask you to look honestly at yourself. Are you really putting others first? How much is your own agenda still there, even if it is hidden in the back of your mind? In this series of articles I am looking at Deepak Chopra’s ‘Seven Laws of Spiritual Success’. He refers to what he calls the law of ‘Giving and Receiving’ and the law of ‘Karma’. But if you focus on you, you will fail.
Network Marketing is a rare business opportunity model in that everyone in your team is an independent distributor. Yet if you cannot mould them into a cohesive unit, you don’t have much chance of success.
