The Five Pillars for your Success
Remember your lack of success is not your fault.
Ok, so you want to bake an apple pie – well everybody knows that to make a Great Apple Pie you really need 5 Key Ingredients…
- Your First key ingredient being your Pie Pan and your Recipe…
- Your Second key ingredient being your Pie Crust…
- Your Third key ingredient being your Apples…
- Your Fourth key ingredient being your Sugar and Spices to make it taste nice…and
- Your Fifth key ingredient is your oven so you can bake your Pie consistently every time.
Now…what would happen to your Apple Pie if you missed any one of your 5 key ingredients?
Well it won’t work!!
Yup…well…the “5 Pillars for your Success” are the 5 Key Ingredients that you want to have in place with your Home Business and guess what…Everybody knows that if you miss any one of those 5 Key Ingredients your business will not work just like the Apple Pie…
- Pillar 1 – The Company, integrity of the owners/founders. Check them out and see if they are still actively involved in building a network marketing business. Would you ask someone to defend you in a court of law who retired from the profession 20 years ago? Life moves on and you need people backing you who are in the field now.
- Pillar 2 – Timing in the industry. Most new MLM companies fail within 2 years! All that pre-launch stuff sounds seductive. Don’t fall for it. You are much safer to go with a company that has been established at least 2 years and better 3 or 4.
- Pillar 3 – Product. Most companies have good products. They wouldn’t survive if they didn’t. But check a few things. Are they repeat sale products? (much better) Are they value for money? (would you buy them anyway, even if you weren’t a distributor?) Are they products that will hold their price? (typically technological type products go down in price over time – computers are now much cheaper in relative terms than a few years ago)
- Pillar 4 – Compensation Plan. They are not all the same and you need to understand yours and see if it suits you. Is the emphasis on sponsoring new distributors? Does it encourage you to build in depth? Check out the ‘policies & Procedures’. Is there an annual renewal clause? This is not good. Do you have crippling monthly requirements for sales or finding new distributors? These may lose you the bonus check if you don’t meet them.
- Pillar 5 – A System. Does the company offer a tried and tested system with a coach, a mentor and a team to support you? Just being told to go off and make a list of friends and family or hitting a cold list of leads is NOT a system.
The Mentoring for Free system will help you find out if all these are in place. It is not a business opportunity and none of the mentors earns anything from their work. They won’t pitch you with their opportunity as they all earn a living from the companies they work with.
Just get that recipe right!!
