Would it be OK if you could be really successful in Network Marketing? Keep it simple – learn basic skills – how to talk to people. Find ambitious entrepreneurs and help them do the same. That’s it!

We all wish each other a Happy New Year and most of us make all sorts of resolutions and new goals for the year ahead. Sadly most of those goals are never reached and within a month or so the resolutions are cast aside.
This is simply because we do not approach them in the right way. Big goals and dreams are great but they will be achieved in small daily steps, not in spectacular leaps.
One of the keys to this is to change daily habits. Small changes to our habits cement whole new patterns of behaviour and result in spectacular achievements in the end but not in the short term.
Here is my wish for you:

My mentor Marcello Lisi built his business to diamond but for 2 years he received no income from it for complex personal reasons. Yet he kept building and what kept him going was his team. This is a fantastic example of Zig Ziglar’s advice that if you help others to get what they want, you will receive everything you want.
Right in the midst of dark times is when our integrity is tested. Yet that is just the time to hold true to our principles. Such a philosophy and integrity is something we should all emulate.

When a new distributor in your business says ‘I will try’, they are not likely to withstand many storms. Of course they may grow to a level above merely trying, but as they say, ‘Don’t hold your breath’. You should not give them too much time and energy till they prove they are worthy of it.

One of my mentors, Michael Dlouhy, talks all the time about being in the now. Ken Dunn recently posted a great article about how he would spend the day if he knew it was to be his last.
They are both talking about being in the present moment – be here now. Even though we have dreams and goals and plans for the future (and that’s good), all we really have in our hands is what is right now.
You have to be ‘All in’. Let’s dialogue because I know some of you will not like what I am about to say. You cannot build more than one network marketing company. When I hear people talk about their ‘primary company’ I have to ask – Can you be married to more than one person? Well not legally!
Not one of the super successful keynote speakers at my convention has a stake in any other company.
