Buying Leads – is it a Scam?

Travel MLMs - Legit or Not?Sounds like a basic business expense. A lot of guys do it. You buy leads over a period but the payback is getting great new people in your business. The volume they add to your business wipes out any cash you laid out. After all any business has a basic cost.

The leads you buy are supposed to be people interested in MLM, but hey, do you know where most of them come from? From other people’s lists!! So chances are they are burnt out already; been approached ten times before; or taken off a list of subscribers to something other than MLM. So how hot are these guys? [click to continue…]

MLM Development System

Heavy hitters in network marketing promise Overnight Success. I’ve seen it since before the internet days. Now it’s even more of clarion call by so called superstars. Sadly many people still fall for it.

It is simply not true – in any area of life. Take a musician who rockets to stardom with his first record. Overnight success we all say. Wrong. He or she will have spent years playing cheap clubs and bars for a pittance; sending endless demo tapes to record companies and getting endless rejections. But he believes in himself, practices with better musicians and then…..well the harder we work, the luckier we get.

So why do we fall for this hype? Financial desperation, frustration with past failure, lack of self-confidence, many reasons. [click to continue…]

MLM Network Marketing Leads

You are looking for business partners, not someone to simply sign a distributor agreement. So where are your entrepreneurs? The best prospects are those whose frustration in developing a home business makes them search for answers – or someone seriously looking to work from home. Most who work from home are part time. There are others things in their lives. These are the numbers so accept them. They want a system in which duplication is easy.

A network marketing leads system must be simple and it must target prospects who already understand what residual income really means. Once you have the passive income you desire you can choose to educate the world at large if you want. Till then concentrate on those already in or genuinely looking for an income opportunity. Leadership

I’ve been reading some inspiring writing by Lee Iacocca, the legendary former boss of the Ford Motor Company and the Chrysler Corporation in the United States. You know the saying about “Putting your money where your mouth is” – well he did just that. Chrysler was on the point of bankruptcy; big cuts were needed; everyone there had to pull together or sink.

Lee cut his own salary to one dollar a year. Then he asked the executives to take a pay cut. Last he went to the union and the workers to ask what they would give and over a 19 month period they made 2.5 billion dollars in concessions!

An inspirational leader must act first and only ask of his followers what he has done already. I highly recommend any of his books. [click to continue…]

Why are you in this business?

To make my fortune of course! – I’m looking for financial freedom. – I want to own my life.

Sure – but that’s not enough. You will meet challenges on your journey and you must have a stronger, more specific reason for what you are doing. I’m sure most of you are familiar with ‘vision boards’ and ‘dream books’. Certainly since the release of the film The Secret they have become regular tools for most entrepreneurs.

The majority of people fill them with new cars, houses, holidays etc. As far as they go, they will give you motivation.

But are you a real dreamer, a visionary? Do you want to leave a lasting mark on the world after you have gone? Not necessarily that your name will be remembered – though it might be – but do you dream that many lives will have been enriched by your presence? Possibly even that your legacy will continue to change lives? [click to continue…]
